Giving at Alexion
We support important community initiatives and the needs of people affected by rare disease.
Medical Education and Patient Advocacy Grants
We provide Medical Education and Patient Advocacy Grants for programs related to Alexion's therapeutic or disease areas of interest.
Medical Education Grants support independent medical education programs that provide educational or professional development activities for physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and other HCPs. Medical education may be accredited or non-accredited.
Patient Advocacy Grants support specific programs designed, organized, and controlled by independent external organizations to support the needs of patients and caregivers.

Community Investment
We support activities for the public good, science education (particularly among young people), and disaster relief. Applicants own and control the activity and any related output. Alexion will not receive any direct commercial benefit in return. Recognition is acceptable (for example, Alexion identified as a supporter on event signs or communication, or in transparency acknowledgements of health promotion or education materials).
