Alexion encourages the submission of proposals that focus on preclinical translation of scientific discoveries into therapies for patients with rare diseases.
We are interested in supporting technologies that advance our areas of interest such as novel delivery methods for cell therapies, gene therapies and gene editing.
Prioritized areas include identification and/or validation of novel therapeutic targets for rare diseases, biomarkers to inform clinical development, as well as research that elucidates the mechanistic link between disease and target within our therapeutic areas of interest.
