About Sean
Sean joined AstraZeneca in 2001 at the corporate headquarters in London, UK. He spent 10 years in the Corporate Treasury function, including four years as Group Treasurer leading the financing and treasury risk management activities for AstraZeneca. He has since held a number of senior finance roles including Area Finance Director Middle East & Africa based in Dubai, CFO for AstraZeneca’s China & Hong Kong commercial business based in Shanghai, and most recently led the R&D finance team as Finance VP R&D based in Cambridge, UK. Prior to joining AstraZeneca, Sean worked at Credit Suisse First Boston in London, UK, and KPMG in Wellington, New Zealand.
Sean is a qualified accountant and member of the Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand, and has an Advanced Diploma in Corporate Treasury (MCT) with the Association of Corporate Treasurers, UK.
